Sealer Base Coat / Grout Release
|
After years of experimentation with many types of sealers, to properly seal absorbent clay tiles, Tesco Products has concluded that it is necessary to seal this type of tile in two separate procedures. With Tesco Flash-Cote as a base coat, a multitude of sealers and waxes can be applied to the satisfaction of the customer. Naturally Tesco recommends the use of their NON-YELLOWING Tesco Crystal Seal, the standard of the industry since 1951. Flash-Cote is a specially formulated product by Tesco Products as a base for sealers and waxes on extremely absorbent clay tiles, Mexican tile, mission tiles and any type of porous paver. Flash-Cote absorbs quickly into these tiles, without any change to the color, and dries clear. Flash-Cote is non-flammable and no special handling is required, however it should be protected from freezing and used in temperatures above 40 degrees Fahrenheit. |

DIRECTIONS:
Clean surface with Tesco Clean'Brite, rinse surface thoroughly and allow to dry. When renovating an old floor strip surface with Tesco Stripper and then clean surface with Tesco Clean'Brite, rinse surface thoroughly and allow to dry.
Application can be done by mop, roller or brush, however lambs wool applicator is recommended. It is preferable to allow to dry overnight and then apply a coat of Tesco Crystal Seal.
